Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is a wireless communication standard introduced bythe Third-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). NB-IoT is one of the licensed Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWAN) cellular technologies based on Long-Term Evolution (LTE) characterized by its long range and low cost.
Our research related to NB-IoT has been initiated under the COEL ERA-Chair project. Our NB-IoT research includes radio resource management and optimization, interference management, and real-life deployment.
